Metroid Recreation (Partial)

This is one of the first games I ever attempted to make. I just went in and picked a game that I knew a bit about and that was Metroid. This is my first ever functional game, where you can in a sense win and lose. I learned a lot during this project. Many functional programming concepts and the wall crawlers really gave me a hard time! It's been 2 years since I made this and I still remember sitting in my room for hours trying to figure out what was going on. Little did I know at the time I made a working Finite State Machine without knowing what it was. Anyway, I just wanted to post this project online because I want to prove I exist.
